    New Trailer for 180

The original Eagle trailer that came with my 180 Islander finally rusted out, so I ordered a Venture. Just thought I'd share the pics - fits great, drives great, looks great. Just towed it up to Lake Ossipee in NH from Boston MA (~100 miles) and all is well:

Venture makes a very nice trailer and yours looks great! Have a peek at the wheel bearing grease. Many times the manufactures install packed bearings, but never fill the hubs with grease.

Roger that, I'll fill em up real nice. Always keep the grease gun with me on longer trips.

That's a good looking trailer and seems to fit the bunks to the boat really well.

If you don't mind telling us...what was the price? I've priced a new Roadrunner trailer for my 208 and they want ~$4K for it...

Yeah seems to fit great. Trailer itself was $2375 (which included dics brakes, lots of other quotes I got didn't have brakes for the same price). Then it was another $150 for the yard to fit the trailer to the boat - totally worth it, the bunks had to be spread out more, they got it to sit exactly where it sat on the bunks on old trailer.

Well...my trailer is custom built/fitted for my boat, with double rows of bunks; 1 set a little over 11' long the other set is just over 7' long. It would take some mods to make that posted Venture trailer work...
