JT, do you have any pics? I tried looking up your old 33ol, but looked like the regular hole vent?

Trying to decide on color now?!

Was going to go white metallic?? OR

Thinking I could put the XXX colors on the vent and carry them to the edge of the vent

.... only issue is that if I painted the vent white, then added the colors... one of the X’s is white.. so it really wouldnt be a contrast with the vent itself other than the black screen behind it.

Can’t post pics here, I’ll send something on OSO...I couldn’t decide on the paint on mine either, ended up just fine sanding them til they shined and if something came to mind, I could paint them later,....I bought a sheet octagonal grating from McMaster. Carr that was said to have a 85% open area, ended up painting that purple because that’s what flowed with the graphics of the boat

Working on putting epoxy to hold mesh on.
I ended up spraying the mesh gray, red and black and leave the white metallic vent alone.
This was test fit and before i decided to change the mesh colors

Thanks! I think it came out pretty well. Glad I left the grill white and the colors behind and it looks pretty good. Would be easy to change the mesh back to black if I change my mind once I get to under cover and get a better look at it!

Getting a lil cold tonight, had to turn on my winterizing kit. By that I mean the thermostatically controlled plug with 3 drop lights. It turns on at 38 and off at 50.
