    Welcome Baja 260cd 1994 Gen V 454 Mag

I installed a new mechanical fuel pump today that was ordered to replace the original which seemed to be from 1994 but truly unknown.

Today's findings include cylinders #4, #6, and #8 all have next to no compression...

I pulled starboard valve cover and see that all the rockers are moving while engine is cranking.

Whats supposed to happen next folks????

What’s the compression on the rest of the cylinders?
What did the plugs in 4,6 and 8 look like, beat up like something is bouncing around in the cylinder?

    My thoughts
Blower head gasket, but that doesn’t answer the noise
Broken piston and/or broken valve seat

    +1
I agree with Kefirr... Possible head gasket, valve train, or rotating assy damage. Before you pull the head, Borrow or rent one of those inspection cameras and have a look down inside those holes for damage.
