I keep a handheld radio in the cabin

You’ll be surprised how warm it feels in the cabin because the water temp hasn’t dropped much yet

LOL! It is Lake Superior. The water temp is at most 60.

I was off a bit. Lake Superior is not a swimming lake. The water never gets warm.

We ended up not going. They changed the forecast and it rained both days.

That sucks the weather didnt cooperate. That pricing seems about right for a slip rate. Trips like that are a blast. get some friends to run with you and enjoy your time when you can take the trip. I am always leery of having a space heater in the boat due to potential gas fumes just something to think about. a couple of good blankets and someone warm to be beside and you should be in great shape.
Because without beer things just dont seem to go as well

The woman went back to NH were she is from. I am going to put the boat in Superior this weekend. Staying in Knife River. I am a Falconer and the Minnesota club is having their trapping weekend. I will not be trapping as the winds are not right and it would a boring weekend in a blind with nothing happening.

I am the only one I know with a performance boat. I hope by going out I can meet some others with this passion also.
