    Spinning In or Out????

I know the saying is "Spin IN to WIN!!! but for those of you that have tried it is there a noticeable improvement? I tried it once and didn't like how it manuevered around the docks, but I was told trim the drive up a little when backing and it'll improve this problem. I'm going to try it again now that I have a base # and see where I'm at.

Be interesting to see how your boat reacts to spinning a LH prop on a single.

Mine's a little more than 1 mph faster turning in.

Leaving the drives trimmed positive does help with the docking, but it's
still not as good as it is when turning out.

With stock power I don't think you will see any difference. I am curious to see if Dawg sees any with his setup. On a single with big power it makes since to me that spinning the prop left would counter act the torque and weight of the boat like a right side drive on a motorcycle does.

    Re: Spinning In or Out????

I'm going to try a few setups Thursday morning when I get out there and see which is the best....I might have to switch cables around at the dock...We'll see.. I still need to try 28's and see if they'll be better than the 30's as well...
