Can a guy ever get a break?

I'm really starting to think again that I'm not meant to have this damn boat or engine....... 25-30hrs and the end of the season and the most unusual noise I've ever heard..... Started it up Sunday morning after running all weekend and after the pig roast, ran it at idle for about 5min, untied it from dock and backed out and thought my light pole fell into the pulley assembly and shut it right off. That wasn't it..... Thank God Will was right beside me to tow me back in to the boat ramp....... Oil pressure was great, and pulled the engine tonight and the plugs looked fine other than being extremely rich. Just wonder if I need to give this **** up because I'm broke as HELL and out of patience..... Ben said to bring it to him and not worry about it but it's driving me f"IN crazy wondering what has happened? I know he will take care of it but hate that the powerplant is back out and he is going at it again with this motor.... Cleaning the boat up this weekend and gettin it the hell out of here before I have a boat burning party........

I hear ya bro... its going to be a terrible winter for me, I have tons of huge projects and some I didn't ask for, or want to do. So I feel your pain, I am hoping I can get the boat back on the water for next season, I have so much to do.

I hope Ben works everything out for you.

Man Scott that sucks. Keep your head up. We all had a tough year.

What were the best speeds you ever saw from it?

I never did get mine dialed in properly last year due to lack of time. I think I'm gonna try for more this off season, make it a bit more difficult to get dialed in.....lol

Sorry to hear Scott. I will hopefully start tearing into mine next month and figure out what I am looking at on my end.
