If that's a true GPS speedo I would say he's turning at least 550HP......... My boat without an extension box, spinning a 28 4-blade (labbed and cupped) at 4800rpm, with my old 454mag and 2.3L sidemount Whipple making 550HP on a good day ran 75mph GPS and a consistent 73mph GPS. Gotta Love you some 25 Outlaws........

It wasn't a GPS speedo but it was pretty dead on. Best I ever saw out of it was almost 76 very light and really loose with a tail wind (probably a fluke)... Any given day 73-74 GPS.

My speedo in my 272 was not a gps and it was usually between 3-5 mph faster than the gps speed. It seemed to be closer to gps speed at cruising speed and further off at WOT. Regardless very nice speeds. Now just throw some boxes and some shorties on it and you will love how it handles at high speed. Ask Irish, he was very impressed with the way mine handled when he drove it. If you do put boxes on. Keep in mind I have two of the long input shafts that you will need.

    Re: For you "VIOLATOR"!

Hummm... as I said...it was "not" a GPS speedo in the boat....however it was fairly close when we had the GPS on it. Good running 25 regardless, wish I still had it sometimes....

I'd talk more bout my 29 but everyone will harass me as if this is the superbowl and we are loosing by 1 point so I'm gonna stay quiet..
