    Winter projects

Well It appears that I need to replace th wood in my sun pad/motor cover this winter. Maybe some lighting in the cockpit and that should be all I am doing this winter.

    Anyone else got anything going?
Because without beer things just dont seem to go as well

i have a water leak where the Y pipe goes thru the transom for the quiet exhaust that is getting fixed it is just a seal ( might leave the engine out for a while so i can do some work to it if the money comes in ) and some more work on my stereo another 400 watt amp and 4 - 8 inch speakers in the cockpit and add another battery for the stereo so it last longer while tied off at the beach

New Garmin 5212 gps, 18" HD radar, sonar sounder. Some tower LED spots, and finally redo the stereo and speakers I was going to to over the summer until my ECU decided to give me problems. See guys, even a simple stock 250 outboard gives you problems.

Want to get the gel-coat all fixed on the bow from the origional idiot...oops, I mean owner who drove down gravel roads without protecting the bow and would like to get the platform re-painted and bow rail re-painted lime green.... Also have a brand new sunpad cover in the box that came with the boat so probably get that put on....maybe add two more 10's and a bigger amp? Oh and also hoping to get my props re-done this Christmas and spin them in...play with drive toe and a few other tricks to see if I can get some more speed...

    Dave,

i would recommend Powder Coating instead of paint. that is just an idea. i think it would have a better chance of lasting.

I've got a couple interior fixes going to XT Innovations in spring and a few glass fixes for Lakeaway Boat Reoair otherwise thats it. Just put a coat of Leverage on it and detail the interior and boat.

Lot's i want to do, just don't know what will get done. Ordered 4 blue cup holders for the cockpit which should be here next week. Will put blue LED's in them. Next up hopefull is to get all the lettering done. Hey, it took me 14 years to get things done on the last boat, so lots of time.

    Re: Winter projects

Yeah Will that is what I was thinking too. I had planned on when I drop it off for the gel work to get done for them to take the platform etc off and just have their guy do it but don't know if they powder coat or just paint...will need to find out for sure. I would take it off but I can see my nightmirror of taking all the glass off the back trying to do it...

Yeah Keith I agreee with you... lots I "want" to do (as stated above) just gotta find the time and of course the most important part... "$$$"
