    Man, those are some great speeds with the Islander for sure! Way to go buddy.

    Now the real question... Do you shift the cooler around in the cockpit or bow to change the center of gravity for more speed? I'm sure it only has a few ummm "bvgs" in it

    I dunno, but my old 25 would run that speed solid with MSD, heads flowed, IMCO exhaust, AZ Speed computer flash, bigger air cleaner and a LAB 26 built by the late great Dennis at Merc. Racing propellers.... so it's gotta have some extra "go go juice" in it somewhere!

    idk seems with the cooler in the front the content always made it to the back. only made a difference when you stopped to jump in the water and empty the bilge. go figure? liquid, boats hmmmm
