Re: B-36 Outlaw with Staggered twins

I will tell you this…When we acquired B36 she was only a hull and deck with not an ounce of rigging or graphics..NOTHING. Baja did construct this boat a little lighter than a oem 36. We then took her to a well known or should I say “secret” place, Lake X. We were pretty tight with Craig Barrie and Bud Lorow from Cigarette Racing. These guys knew the hull very well because the 36 is actually a 35 Cigarette Café Racer. So we all decided to make her into a staggered set-up for both balance and performance. Know I don’t know of any others out in a twin configuration and I couldn’t see the Bad Idea Baja post from offshoreonly but I can say that once B36 left the Baja factory she spent most of her time at X and Cigarettes Factory on 188th street “Thunder Boat Row” getting dialed in. I only know this because I put most of her together. So let’s just say again that she is “One of a Kind”

I looked at it today a little though the fence. Its looks pretty ruff on the out side it is half way out in the sun and weather at cedar creek.

It's been stripped and looks like it sits uncovered in Ohio. I'm guessing the 42 Pace boat is next to be stripped of its goodies... :(
