    Re: 5.4L spark plug change

Did anybody get the 5.25 million dollar spark plug class action lawsuit settlement in the mail for their 2004-2008 3V 5.4L ford? I got one but they want the receipt for who did the spark plug replacement work. I did it and I don't normally give myself a receipt for work I did myself. I bought all the parts and the specialty tools to do so. Anybody getting involved in this?

Our dealership got a letter in the mail last week about that. The prices on there were crazy insane, upwards of 2k dollars. Which I do remember before there were any tools we did have to pull the heads on 4-5 trucks and knock them out the back side. But aside from that I am not sure where the 2k dollar price came in at

The paper I received was a $300 credit for the plugs labor and tools to do so.

I did, sold the truck with 103k miles on it a couple of weeks ago and picked up a diesel.

Well, 40 thousand miles later, we're blowing the tips off of the plugs!! P0301 OBD code miss fire cyl 1... Running good now. 13 bucks a plug.
