    Well..my 09 250 has the V5 hitch from the factory....12,500 weight distributing.... But I can tell you in past I have towed 40 OL's with a 250.... Didn't say it was "right or legal"...just saying....

    weight distributing doesn't work to well on surge brakes....

    If you are going to tow...always tow safe and be courtious to others on the road... and that goes both ways...for those of you who are around people towing, rigs etc...be courtious. Stopping distances, sight and other things are all hindered....

    Was hoping those with actual towing specs would help me fill in the blanks..
